The Gulf of Mexico, Dec 13, 2018, 3:10 pm (performed in the top lounge of the boat, between Cuba and the Bahamas)

Action notes: On the right is a higher-pitched jiggly sound…like a clothes washer towards the end of its spin cycle. Focussing on it (focal listening) is uncomfortable, but not too hard. On the left is the sound of radio music and people talking in a bar. I hear what I think is a conversation in Japanese intermixed with the sound of classic rock. As I focus left, the right becomes less prominent. Interestingly, though, it is harder to focus with the left than the right. I am left-handed, but, it seems, right eyed, right-footed, and, now, right eared! Is this a thing?

Action constraints: The sound coming into my right ear hurt when I focally oriented to it.
